Does DWG → DXF lose quality?

The target format compression is neutral (lossless or container-only) - neither degrades nor improves quality.

DWG is Autodesk's binary format. We read it via LibreOffice Draw - support is limited; best to export from AutoCAD to DXF (open standard) or PDF.

DWG is Autodesk's proprietary format. DXF is the open interchange format - same content, but portable across programs.

Preserved in DXF. In PDF / PNG - everything is flattened to a raster view.

CAD → PDF uses the default scale. For a specific scale (e.g. 1:50), export from AutoCAD with the scale set, then upload the PDF.
