Does PPT → PPTX lose quality?

The target format compression is neutral (lossless or container-only) - neither degrades nor improves quality.

Animations preserved?

PPTX → ODP - yes. PPTX → PDF / PNG - no (PDF / images are static). Slides render in their resting state.

Apple Keynote (.key)?

Read-only. Apple uses a proprietary format - we emit to PPTX / PDF.

PPTX → PNG produces one image per slide. For one slide only, crop the resulting PDF page.

Custom fonts may be replaced with defaults. Embed fonts in PPTX before converting (File → Options → Embed fonts).
